This is our 1st blog post as a band, and the idea is that we can communicate more effectively with all of you and let you know whats going on within the band.
As you all know we released our debut Ep back in february and since then its probably safe to say that all things havn't gone exactly to plan. The past couple of months have brought along new challanges for us as a band and the added setbacks of health issues and general changes in our lives left us a little bit disillusioned as to where we were going with the band and what we should do next.
As long as I've been a member of this band we always had something we were aiming towards, the overall aim has always been to have as many people as possible hear our music, but we always had something to work for in the short term be it a gig or recording or getting everything ready for releasing the Ep. Recently we found ourselves without anything in particular to work towards for the 1st time in a long time and if I'm being honest we didnt quite know what to do with ourselves.
In the past couple of weeks a lot has changed though. A few weeks ago we filmed our 1st music video with the extremly talented director Simon Keenan and we hope to have all the information about the video and the single for you in the next couple of weeks. We also plan to post a few new pro shot live videos online of our set from the Ep launch in Crawdaddy. All of this along with some new songs that are starting to take shape quite nicely has given new life to us as a band.
The next month is going to be a busy one for us so were glad to announce that on Friday 17th of June we'l be back in Crawdaddy for our biggest headline show this summer with support from 3 great up and coming Dublin acts Late Night Manicans. The Bareback Rodeo and "Said The Nun To The Sailor". Doors are going to open at 8 o clock and tickets will be available on the door!
As for the rest, we'l keep posting news on our Facebook over the next couple of weeks. Expect live videos, pictures, video blogs, more gigs and all the details of our video and single!
